Hi, I’m Alex, a psychotherapist, breathwork facilitator, and clinical supervisor. I’m passionate about fostering growth, self-compassion, and professional resilience in newly licensed social workers and counselors. With experience in trauma-informed care, I bring a collaborative and supportive approach to supervision, drawing from modalities like sensorimotor psychotherapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), mindfulness, and breathwork.
As a private practice therapist, I understand the unique challenges of working with trauma survivors and navigating private practice. My goal as a supervisor is to help you deepen your clinical skills, develop your professional identity, and build a practice that aligns with your values. Together, we’ll explore ways to hold space for your clients while also tending to your own well-being as a practitioner.

As of May 2025, I have the necessary requirements to supervise LGSWs in DC and LSWs & LPCCs in Colorado.
I offer trauma-informed trainings designed to help individuals, organizations, and helping professionals better understand the impact of trauma and build more compassionate, responsive ways of working with others.
Drawing from my clinical experience as a trauma therapist, I create trainings that are engaging, practical, and grounded in both research and real-world experience. Topics may include working with survivors of sexual assault, trauma and the nervous system, attachment, dissociation, somatic approaches, boundaries, emotional regulation, secondary trauma, and creating trauma-informed spaces.
