Psychotherapist and Breath Work Facilitator

Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a compassionate therapy that views you as made up of different “parts,” each with its own feelings, beliefs, and roles. Rather than trying to get rid of these parts, we build a relationship with them from the calm, wise “Self” within, so that wounded parts can heal and protective parts can relax. This approach supports deep inner harmony, emotional healing, and self-compassion.

How It Works:
-
Identifies and explores different internal “parts” (e.g., protectors, exiles, managers, firefighters).
-
Builds access to the grounded, compassionate “Self” that can lead with clarity and calm.
-
Helps with listening to parts with curiosity instead of judgment or resistance.
-
Uncovers the positive intentions behind protective behaviors, even if they seem problematic.
-
Supports unburdening painful emotions and beliefs held by wounded parts.
-
Encourages internal dialogue and collaboration between parts for greater harmony.
-
Restores a sense of inner safety, empowerment, and integration.

IFS is great at helping you with:
-
Improving your relationship with self by fostering compassion and curiosity.
-
Building compassion towards yourself and reducing self-criticism.
-
Building the understanding and skills to shift from unhealthy strategies.
-
Healing wounded parts that were caused by trauma, neglect, or abuse.
-
Better understanding needs to connect better in your relationships.
